Why Visioning Works

(and Why It’s More Powerful Than Goal Setting)

 

Traditional goal setting relies primarily on logic and willpower. While helpful, this approach often increases stress, perfectionism, and self-doubt—making follow-through harder.

 

Neuroscience shows us that:

• The brain responds more effectively to imagery, emotion,

            and meaning than to checklists

• Engaging the creative brain strengthens motivation, focus,

            and memory

• When intentions feel emotionally aligned, action becomes

            more sustainable
